30 Million to None’s Mexican Fiesta
12-2pm, 8 May 2018
The George Building, Level 1
Swinburne University, Hawthorn
We are very excited to announce our next 30Mil live event!
On the 8th of May, 30 Million to None will be taking part in a ‘Mexican Fiesta’ which will be held by the Event’s Management class at Swinburne University in the student lounge. The event will be to further our goals of spreading awareness on modern slavery.
We are happy that 30Mil will be reaching a wider audience through this event and will make more people aware of what we are trying to achieve through our work. As many people know, an online presence isn’t always enough to raise awareness to such a big cause, so this event will help make noise in a significant way.
At the event, I (Cait) will be there to answer any questions related 30 Million to None, our team, modern slavery or really anything that comes to mind. You will most likely find me by the piñata or floating around the food table.
We would like to thank Cupcake Central and Guzman y Gomez for being our event sponsors and providing us with food (free food, mind you), and also all the students within the Event’s Management class and their tutor, Kelly, for making the event happen.
So, if you happen to be around the Hawthorn area on the 8th of May between 12-2pm, swing by level 1 of The George building and come hit a cardboard animal in hope it gives out some lollies and listen to some live entertainment.
We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
